How to Sword Jump in Queen's Domain

The Queen's Domain sword jump opens routes across broken bridges and elevated ruins, and your weapon determines how it works. For normal exploration in the full game, acquire the Holy Sword Endu and use Wind Dash after jumping. The demo's Rusted Short Sword lunge jump is a separate technique with a much tighter timing window.

Once you have Endu, practice the basic crossing sequence:

  1. Face the platform you want to reach.
  2. Jump from your starting ledge.
  3. Activate Wind Dash while airborne to cross the gap.
  4. With additional Wind Gems, use successive dashes to reach farther platforms.

Watch the diamond-shaped Wind Dash meter beneath your Power Meter. Each dash consumes one diamond, and charges regenerate over time. Endu starts with one Wind Gem; collecting another gives you a second dash.

Release any charged melee attack before attempting a dash. Holding a charged attack prevents Wind Dash, running, and throwing weapons. If the ability refuses to activate while you're preparing a strike, let go of that attack first.

Unlock the Holy Sword Endu and Wind Dash

Your starting Rusted Short Sword gets you through the opening area, but Endu provides the aerial movement needed for the island's larger crossings.

Retrieve the Endu Shrine Gate Key

  1. Get the Dagger Belt along the coastal route. Reach the two small islands and collect the belt from the branch on the farther island. Equip it to gain rechargeable Throwing Daggers.
  2. Enter the lower valley's underground dungeon. Throw a dagger into the diamond-shaped opening beside its entrance to open the door.
  3. Explore downstairs. Pick up the Wooden Club from the chest in the northern room on the first lower floor.
  4. Continue to the lower shrine. Clear the surrounding enemies and collect the Endu Shrine Gate Key from the central shrine.
  5. Take the elevator back toward the starting Crystal Monument. Rest if needed and save before approaching the boss.

The Wooden Club deals Impact damage, making it useful against the skeletal Shrine Guardian. Keep your distance when the boss raises its sword overhead; that strike reaches farther than its size might suggest.

Claim Endu at the Shrine

Return toward the beach where you collected the Dagger Belt. The Endu Shrine stands beyond that area, with a guard outside its gate.

Unlock the gate, defeat the Shrine Guardian, and interact with it afterward. Collect the Stone Duck Figurine, then continue to the Holy Sword Endu and equip it.

Endu arrives with its initial Wind Gem. The diamond beneath your Power Meter marks your newly available dash charge.

The Storm Gem is a later upgrade for Endu's special attack. You can already use Wind Dash before reaching it in the Tower of Knowledge.

Find the Second Wind Gem for Longer Jumps

A second Wind Gem gives you two aerial dashes, opening crossings that your initial charge cannot cover. Your early destination is the area around the Cemetery Precipice Crystal Monument.

From the starting region, use Endu to cross the uphill gaps and reach Cemetery Precipice. Save there, then follow this route:

  1. Face north from the Crystal Monument and walk toward the graves near the cliff.
  2. Turn east and follow the wall until the raised path reaches its lowest point beside a tree.
  3. Climb the rubble onto that path.
  4. Follow the road north, clearing enemies along the way.
  5. At the end, turn west toward the diamond-shaped object in a nearby small tower.
  6. Jump and air dash onto the broken tower on the right, then jump from the rubble into the small tower.

Pick up the Wind Gem to add a second diamond to your dash meter.

Before attempting another crossing, let both charges refill. You can now use two dashes to cross the broken bridge southwest of the tower near the starting Crystal Monument and reach Aganmi's Camp at Obmuer Temple.

The extra charge also opens nearby optional routes. From the second gem's location, face west toward the taller tower and use both dashes to reach its upper platform. A platter there contains Roasted Poultry, which permanently increases your health, with a Meal Ticket underneath.

Perform the Demo's Lunge Jump

The demo's movement trick carries momentum from the Rusted Short Sword's lunge into a jump. Its timing centers on the end of the thrust animation.

To practice:

  1. Equip the Rusted Short Sword.
  2. Perform its lunge.
  3. Watch for the sword to begin pulling backward.
  4. Press jump at that transition to carry the forward momentum into the air.

Use the sword's pullback as your timing cue. Jumping before the lunge and attacking in midair is a different input sequence.

Practice on familiar ground before aiming for distant ledges. Keep your starting position and camera direction consistent while adjusting the jump timing; the demo trick can be difficult to repeat even after several successful launches.

On mouse and keyboard, binding jump to scroll wheel down can make repeated jump inputs easier. Check your bindings before doing this, since the scroll wheel also cycles Quick Slot items.

Pandora Blade in the Full Game

The full game's secret Pandora Blade recreates the movement glitch from the demo. That gives you a separate weapon for experimenting with the old technique while Endu handles Wind Dash traversal.

Use Endu when following the island's normal exploration route. Equip Pandora Blade when you want to practice the preserved lunge-jump behavior.

Save Before Exploring Beyond Your Route

Save manually at a Crystal Monument before testing unfamiliar crossings. Dying returns you to your latest save, so an unsuccessful expedition can erase the items and progress gained since then.

Water also deserves attention: you cannot swim, and falling in costs health before returning you to shore. Pick a visible landing platform before launching across coastal gaps.

The October 31, 2026 update addressed several problems relevant to exploration and weapon progression:

Version 1.01.01 fixWhat changed
Missing water return pits around NeasiedMissing return pits were fixed
Star Lizard bags stuck in midairThe loot-drop issue was fixed
Freezing when weapons evolveThe evolution freeze was fixed

After collecting a Wind Gem or reaching a new Crystal Monument, save again before branching off toward optional towers, food platters, and hidden paths.
