Where to Find the Trident
The Queen's Domain trident is in the skeleton-filled main area of the watery ruins outside Obmuer Temple. Pick it up before entering the dungeon: raising the weapon to its maximum level breaks off a piece that becomes another trident key. That extra key helps solve optional treasure puzzles that you cannot finish with the two keys found inside.
You reach these ruins after obtaining the Holy Sword of Endu and a second Wind Gem, which gives you two air dashes. Cross the broken bridge leading into the water area, then explore the main section occupied by several skeletons to find the weapon.
Use the triangular slate hunt to orient yourself:
- The trident is in the main area with several skeletons.
- From that area, dropping down and heading toward the western corner leads to one of the four triangular slates.
- The slates open the temple entrance; the trident keys operate puzzles inside.
Pick up the weapon while collecting the entrance pieces so you can work toward its key unlock during the rest of your adventure.

How to Get the Key From the Weapon
Raise the trident to maximum weapon level. A piece then breaks off, giving you a trident key for the temple's optional puzzles.

Keep the weapon's level separate from your character level when checking your progress. The unlock depends on maxing out the trident itself.
When fighting with it, let the yellow Power Meter refill between attacks. Melee damage depends heavily on that meter, and repeatedly swinging while it is empty produces very little damage. Stop sprinting before attacking so the meter can recover, and check the weapon's inventory description for its damage types rather than judging by its appearance.
Version 1.01.01 fixes a freeze that occurs when weapons evolve. Install that update before working through weapon upgrades if you are playing an earlier version.
Where to Get All Four Trident Keys
Two keys are inside the temple, one comes from the max-level weapon, and one becomes available in the shop after defeating the Tower of Knowledge boss. Searching the temple alone will leave you short of the four needed for certain optional puzzles.

| Key | How to obtain it |
|---|---|
| Temple entrance key | Drop into the watery area near the temple entrance. |
| Skeleton ambush key | From the second save point, air dash into the opening lower down in the large pit, then explore the area where skeletons ambush you. |
| Trident weapon key | Raise the trident found outside the temple to maximum level. |
| Shop key | Purchase it after defeating the Necronomicon in the Tower of Knowledge. |
Use the entrance key to advance toward the second save point. The route through the lower wall opening leads toward the second key and another Wind Gem. That gem brings your total to three air dashes, allowing you to cross the large pit near the save point.
The temple involves moving keys between locks. Retrieve and reposition them as you work through its doors instead of assuming every empty socket needs a newly discovered key.
For the shop key, continue through the Tower of Knowledge and defeat the Necronomicon. Boss-earned duck figurines expand the shop's inventory, so revisit the shop after that fight.
What to Do When You Reach the Multi-Key Room
Near the temple's third save point, you will reach a room containing several trident keyholes. The additional keys are for optional loot; you only need the two temple keys to finish the dungeon.

Leave the four-key puzzles for a return trip if you have not maxed out the weapon or completed the Tower of Knowledge. Continue from the save room into the large cavern and defeat the three royal guard sub-bosses. Their defeat opens the door leading to Dagoom, the sea king.
Save at a Crystal Monument before leaving on a long detour. Saving is manual, and dying sends you back to your latest save, including any weapon progress and pickups recorded there.
